Development Guidelines

All of the land and buildings in Westfields are governed by the Westfields covenants, codes and restrictions as well as the Westfields development guidelines. These protective codes ensure that the quality of the park will remain intact, and they provide land owners and building tenants with a level of insurance that new building owners will construct projects that are in keeping with the quality and climate of Westfields. The Architectural Review Board (ARB) must review and approve all building plans prior to any construction as well as modifications and additions made after construction and occupancy. The Westfields Business Owners Association, a group comprised of representatives from each land owner, ensures that Westfields is continuously maintained in a manner befitting the Washington metropolitan area's premier office park. The Utilities

Major utilities are available to all parcels within Westfields. These include access to power, water, sewer and telecommunication services including a very robust fiber optic system throughout the park. A shared utility easement exists for future utility needs.

The Amenities

Much of the Westfield's amenities base is in place and being enjoyed by Westfields employees today. The Westfields Marriott provides companies in Westfields with state-of-the-art meeting space and support, including a theater with sophisticated audio visual equipment. Two restaurants are open to the public. Two Play and Learn Day Care Centers are operating, each in a convenient park location. At these centers, children ages 6 weeks to kindergarten are provided with quality care in an educationally stimulating environment adjacent to their parents' workplace. There are over eight miles of jogging and bicycle paths in Westfields. AmeriSuites Hotel has built a facility at Route 28 and Westfields Boulevard and this site is being marketed to a variety of restaurants to offer Westfields greater choice and dining convenience.
